Job Details

**This position will be located in our Western Region*Occasional weekends and holidays as needed.Schedules appointments within a team structured Call Center environment for a grouping of assigned specialty clinics. Responsible for complete and accurate patient registration and scheduling and follow-up activities related to scheduling accuracy. Collaborates with team members, clinic and other support staff to most efficiently handle the patient's needs and provide first call resolution to the callers. Listens to the patient's needs and works with them to find appropriate solution(s) to ensure that the patient's experience is exceeded. Provides superior customer service by effectively communicating with a diverse age and ethnic population in an audible, friendly, professional, and well-mannered speaking voice. Utilizes scheduling protocols as a resource to come to well-reasoned conclusions and solutions for callers. Patients of all ages served. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.EDUCATIONHigh school graduate or equivalent required. Associates degree in a related field preferred.EXPERIENCETwo years' previous call center, scheduling, or healthcare experience required. Good verbal and written skills required. Knowledge of Telecommunications operations required. Experience with call centers or switchboard operations required. Strong knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Office Products is required. Strong knowledge of Amtelco computer systems preferred. Basic programming of call flows and scripting also preferred. Programming and scripting of computer systems and call flow management preferred.
